It comes with a Patrick Eagle hard case (made in Canada) which has some wear and tear along the edges (and I think the middle clasp is faulty). There are very minor lacquer cracks to the neck pocket (5mm in length). Electrically the tone and volume pots crackle a bit and the input jack needs attention. There is a bit of fret wear on frets 1,2 &3. There are a couple of chips to the top of the headstock and the lacquer finish has a "worn" look in parts. The neck however is really good and straight with no issues. This guitar has been well used and therefore cosmetically displays several dings and knocks on both the front and rear with one chip to the rear ( therefore too many to list seperately or photograph). It is a very light guitar and very easy to play. I bought this guitar almost ten years ago from a friend in Liverpool but I seldom use it these days. It would appear that the truss rod is adjusted at the neck heel. It has active EMG pickups and it is a factory strung through body. How much of the hardware, pickups and electrical bits are original is unknown as I am no expert, though the soldering work doesn't look to have been messed about with. There is nothing on the guitar to indicate place or date of manufacture. The serial number on the neck plate is 5138. Valley Arts is an American based guitar maker. Hello and thanks for looking at this rare Valley arts M Series Deluxe guitar.
